Spoke too soon...

Ugh, Makenzie woke up and was covered in hives again this morning. It's so annoying not knowing what's causing them. Someone mentioned from heat, and her pedi did say that was one thing that could cause them. Maybe she's too warm in bed? I don't know. She still doesn't seem phased by them though.

I got my candle today and I love it! I still feel a little guilty for spending that money on myself, but we have plenty of money and I deserve it. It smells really good :) My ring says China on the inside, so I'm pretty sure that means it's $100 or less. It's pretty though! They are a really fun idea. I'm going to tell Gus that's what I want for Valentine's Day haha. It's a better use of the money than flowers, in my opinion.

Gus' taxes also went through today. I'm glad he didn't file them when he did them, and let me look at it, because I ended up getting him an extra $300. It'll be nice to take care of some things and put some aside for Makenzie. We are going to spend some on ourselves too, because I have been saying I need new clothes. He needs them too...he might not agree that he needs them, but I think he does. He also needs a stylist, lol! That's where I come in. I'm sorry, he can't dress himself for the life of it. I'll take care of that though.

I've decided to TRY to update this daily, if I can. I know my life isn't anywhere near exciting, but I like to have it to look  back on. Makenzie is usually entertaining enough to at least give me a story to share.

Anyway, off to eat while the princess is napping! It's always nice to enjoy a meal without her clinging to my legs and smacking her lips...hahaha love this little girl :)

  1. That stinks that you don't know what is causing her hives. Have you used anything new on her lately, lotion, bath soap, laundry detergent or have you yourself used anything new that she might be getting on her from you? My husband starting getting hives mysteriously about 6 years ago when we bought our house. He gets them randomly and they go away almost as quickly as they come on. The only thing we have figured out is he gets them when he is stressed. It's crazy! we went through all kinds of things to figure out what was causing it and nothing we eliminated helped.

  2. I've tried thinking of anything new, and have come up with nothing so far. We've started her on whole milk, so we're stopping for a couple days, then will reintroduce it to see if they come back as bad as they were. She hasn't had it for a few days though, and they still fade and then come back. I'm gonna rewash all her bedding just incase, otherwise I don't really know! It's annoying not being able to tell.
