Hump Day

I just love this picture! She fell asleep in my arms, so I laid her down with Daddy. We were supposed to go shopping after she ate, but I figured that could wait a while.

We finally got our taxes back. I got my iPod and bought a Wii; still a few other things that are more important, then I'm setting a good chunk aside for Makenzie. I have my contact fitting tomorrow morning. It'll be nice to be able to see normal :) Gus got a 51" tv; he's crazy! But it's being mounted on the wall, so it'll give us lots of extra room which will definitely be nice.

So, exciting news! Alicia is pregnant! I'm SO excited for them. They have been together for what, seven years?! It's been a long time coming. It's funny, because when we walked outside with them after Kenzie's party, I remember saying, "You guys are next!" At her party, I think they're the only ones who don't have a kid yet, other than Kendra and Chris. I said something similar to Kendra, so maybe she's pregnant too? Haha ;) Everyone being pregnant makes me want another but obviously I'll be smart and wait. We aren't ready for another yet!

Somehow Gus and I got talking about Valentine's Day the other day, and I said I wanted a Diamond Candle. He's like, "Really? That's what you want? You wouldn't rather go pick out a ring?" and I was like, "An engagement ring?!" He said he meant like a promise ring, but I said how we've been together for five years, it's well over due. Being engaged doesn't mean you need to get married right away. Most likely not even for a couple years for us! But anyway, he said how he doesn't mind if we get engaged, we just can't get married til we're ready 100% and can afford it. I told him I'm picking out a ring and giving it to him and he best come up with something really nice, haha :)
